Antiparos is a small island in the southern Aegean, at the heart of the Cyclades, 30 minutes by ferry from Parikia, the main town and port on the larger island of Paros. It can also be reached in just 8 minutes by car ferry from Pounta in the south of Paros (situated between the town and airport), a service which runs every half hour from dawn to after midnight. The regular ferry service enables visitors to dine out in Paros and return to Antiparos for the night, or vice versa.
The main town here is at the northeastern tip of the island, opposite Pounta, with the Venetian castle of Antiparos at its historical centre. The picturesque streets here are lined with shops, and a good choice of cafés and restaurants. Antiparos is popular for its sandy beaches, which include Psaraliki, Soros, Kampos, Glyfa, Apantima, Agios Spyridonas and Monastiria. Vathis Volos, on the southern side of the island, is a great beach from where to enjoy at sunset. Antiparos beaches can be accessed by foot from the main town or by bus, or by hire car if bringing a car over from Paros.
Our luxury holiday rental villas on Antiparos are located in Soros, Agios Sostis and Marganies, all on, or close to, sandy beaches.
